John MasiJohn Noble Masi started in the foodservice industry with a pastry bag of fresh whipped meringue to be used for topping Classic Baked Alaskas when he was only 5 years old. This early Passion lead John to pursue a Professional career in Hospitality starting with his first full time summer job at the age of 13. John attended the premiere culinary school in the world in 1984: The Culinary Institute of America before he moved to Florida to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and Master’s degree in Business Administration at Florida International University.

Since graduating in 1991, John has dedicated more than 20 years to a career in foodservice, working for hotels, cruise ships, premiere catering companies, and 2 of the top 3 global foodservice management companies in positions that continually increased his responsibility from an Executive Chef to a Regional Vice President role. John has traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean and has a huge respect for each island’s passion for food and their local heritage. Today, John teaches young culinarians as a Chef Instructor at The International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale as well as in the Hospitality School at Johnson & Wales University, North Miami campus. In 2011, John formed Hospitality Performance Partners, bringing this same Performance, Partnership, Professionalism, and Passion to a new company focusing solely on client interests.
